Entry Requirements

NCEA (NZ National Certificate of Education Achievement) Level 2, including the following:

• 48 Level 2 (or higher) credits over 4 approved subjects* including 4 reading and 4 writing literacy credits
• Numeracy – 10 credits at level 1 or above
• Be at least 18 years of age at course commencement

Diploma in Hospitality Management or Diploma in Adventure Tourism Management

Australian Students, CIE, and IB

• Successful completion of the Senior Secondary Qualification offered in your state (VCE, HSC, WACE, QCE, NTCE, TCE)
• ATAR – 50 or higher
• CIE- for more information click here
• IB — Students must attain at least 3 passes in SL subjects including English and Mathematics. The IB tests are graded on a scale of 1-7 with a 4 considered passing.

Rudolph Steiner

NZCSE|Rudolp Steiner – Completed the Steiner School Certificate offered by the Federation of Rudolp Steiner Waldorf Schools in New Zealand.  Have achieved the SSC level 2, with:

10 SSC points in 4 approved subjects areas including:

• 4SSC points in approved (UELW) literacy (writing) LOs at level 2 or above and
• 4 SSC points in approved (UELR) literacy (reading) LOs at level 2 or above and
• 9 SSC points in approved (UEN) numeracy LOs at level 1 or above

• Be 17 years of age at course commencement
• Completion of NCEA Level 2 or equivalent

Mature students may be exempt from meeting the academic entry requirements if they can demonstrate relevant work experience and genuine commitment to the industry, through their CV and work references.
