What is Experience QRC?
Experience QRC is the ideal way to explore your tertiary study options. Our version of a Tourism and Hospitality Career Experience Northland, EQRC gives you first-hand insight into student life and study at either our Queenstown or Bay of Islands campus.
EQRC runs every year, during the April, July & October school holidays.
EQRC is a two-day event. We invite you onto our campus to explore the different career options available within the tourism and hospitality industry.

What will I see and do?
- Find out about QRC’s Diploma of Hospitality Management, Certificate in Tourism Operations, Certificate in Hospitality Service or Certificate in Leadership & Performance.
- Meet the staff, talk to students and join in with classroom and social activities.
- Learn about the different career options available within the tourism and hospitality industry, including QRC internship opportunities.
- Visit our Halls of Residence
- Visit leading hotel and tourism operations with behind the scenes access and hear from respected industry professionals.
Who can go?
Experience QRC is for students who are interested in tourism or hospitality and want to study at QRC Tai Tokerau.
Parents are welcome!
When is Experience QRC?
During the School Holidays: April, July and October.
What’s included?
$50.00/per student* for 1 night, 2 days and includes:
- 1 night accommodation
- Food
- Activities
*Please speak to your careers adviser regarding financial assistance as your school may have funds to assist with this cost.
