The course aims to equip you with practical strategies, for example: applying ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ framework and Te Ao Mäori’s holistic concept of Hauora, which you can apply in your everyday life. By teaching you how to manage stress, enhance your resilience, and cultivate a balanced lifestyle, the course seeks to improve your quality of life, enhance your work performance, and potentially increase your job satisfaction.

What is the format of this course?

This course uses blended learning.

  • Compulsory 1-day in-person workshop, held on the first two days of your course (please note this workshop does not include accommodation or transport).
  • Followed by 6-weeks of online learning with tutor check-ins.

You will be assessed via weekly quizzes and an e-workbook relating to the course content.

How long is this course?
  • 6-weeks.
Is this course 100% online learning?

No – there is a 1-day in-person workshop.

Research has shown that blended delivery yields the best student outcome and learning outcome.
The in-person workshop will be held at the start of your course and is compulsory.

What’s the time commitment?
  • It is recommended that learners allocate 8-9 hours per week of study to the course
  • 5-6 hours of online learning and 3 hours of self-directed learning
  • The online lectures are recorded, allowing students to listen at their convenience
  • There will be a weekly tutorial session where students can check in and ask questions about coursework or assignments

Yes. This is an online course, however there is a 1-day compulsory in-person workshop at the start of your course.
