As part of QRC’s role as a tourism tertiary education provider, we’re committed to supporting the sustainability of the tourism industry.
In addition to the sustainability papers we offer within our diplomas, we are also helping to educate the wider tourism industry via our Ambassador Program.
The program now includes information about the Tiaki Promise – Care for New Zealand, a national initiative that actively encourages international and domestic travellers to act as guardians of Aotearoa. We provide helpful tips and tools to welcome and connect with Kiwis and visitors from other cultures, including how to travel safely and conscientiously, understand and respect our culture and contribute to preserving and protecting our special place for future generations.

Some of our Graduate Diploma students are also now being internationally recognised for their research work in tourism and sustainability, most notably Dung Hoàng and Mansi Sheth.
